Between the first and fifth of September, 2008, experts from more than seventy countries will visit Santiago, Chile, to know, discuss and approve the main contents of the future international standard ISO 26000; a document that will guide organizations and businesses in applying values, principles, processes and labour practices, on subjects as broad as human rights, the environment, the work issues and the relationship with consumers and the community.
As director of Instituto Nacional de Normalización (INN), ISO institution representative in Chile and coordinator of this important meeting, I am so glad to welcome you to the official site of Chile 2008: VI Social Responsibility Plenary Meeting.
